After their Debacle in Iran, Trump and Netanyahu Agree to a Face Saving Ceasefire with Iran

Trump and Netanyahu have violated all international norms and charters by calling for the assassination of Khamenei and for regime change in Iran.
Main Points:
1. The US attacked three nuclear sites in Iran without causing much damage.
2. Trump administration has given $12 billion in military aid to Israel.
3. US intelligence report says Iran's nuclear sites were intact.
4. Arab states have been silent spectators to the death and destruction in Gaza and Iran.
5. Iran's military resilience has heralded a new world order.
-----
The nightmare is over. Trump forced a ceasefire on Netanyahu with a f** word after twelve days of war with Iran. Iran single handedly took on the joint might of Israel and the US for twelve days whereas the Arab countries were defeated by Israel in six days in 1967. The biggest fear that the US bunker busters would 'obliterate' Iran 's nuclear capabilities and demolish the last post of Islamic resistance against the US and Israeli aggression has vanished from the hearts of those who fervently wanted the end of the hegemony of the US and Israel in the world politics. Iran has surprised many with its military strength vis a vis Israel with its array of hypersonic missiles with new technology that destroyed Israel's much-hyped Iron Dome. Iran's 'dancing missiles' were another surprise to the Israelis who were only used to fight non-state actors like Hamas, Houthis and Hezbollah. After the 13 days of war, Iran proved that Israel was no match for it and if the war continues, Israel will cease to exist. Therefore, to avoid further losses and embarrassment Trump pressurised Netanyahu to stop attacks on Iran and accept ceasefire. Iran destroyed Israel's key military and strategic buildings, airports and oil refineries in Tel Aviv, Haifa and Bat Yam and also destroyed some colonies in West Bank.
As Israel was being battered by Iran, its last hope was the US. Donald Trump ordered the attack on Iran's three nuclear sites but his so-called bunker busters could not accomplish the objectives. Iran proved smarter than the US. First, it had already built the uranium enrichment plants deeper than the reach of the B2 bombers and second, the plants had been fortified to stand any attacks by Israel and the US. Thirdly, Iran had reportedly removed the enriched uranium before the attacks. Contrary to Trumps claims, the US intelligence report based on the assessment of the CENTCOM, Iran's nuclear capabilities remained intact after the bombings.
Now that Iran has proved that its nuclear facilities and military power are no soft target of the US and Iran, and its last hope ---the bunker busters have dashed, Trump and Netanyahu are talking peace. After Iran carried out retaliatory strikes on Al Udeid base of the US in Qatar, Trump unilaterally announced a ceasefire between Israel and Iran but Iran's foreign minister Abbas Aragchi refuted his claim saying there was no official ceasefire in effect but if Israel stopped its illegal attacks, Iran will also stop retaliatory attacks. The reason behind the harsh and inflexible stance against Israel and the US is that both have ditched Iran in the past and Israel is known for breaking ceasefire agreements. According to Grok, Israel has broken ceasefire agreements 78 times. In recent months, it broke ceasefire with Hamas. Israel had attacked Iran on 13th June though the meeting between Iran and the US on Iran's nuclear programme was scheduled on the 15th. Therefore, Iran was preparing for the talks in Oman. It thought that even if the talks fail, Israel or the US would attack only after the 15th. But taking advantage of Iran's complacence, Israel attacked Iran two days before the scheduled talks. Again, when Trump said he would take a decision on Iran after two weeks, Iran thought that US will try to negotiate before making a decision, but he attacked Iran only after three days. This time too Iran was taken unawares. However, since Iran had the fate of Iraq's nuclear reactor at the hands of Israel in sight, it had already fortified its nuclear enrichment plants in such a way that even America's much feared bunker busters would not be able to cause much damage to them.
The failure of Israel and the US to destroy Iran's nuclear facilities or reign in Iran is a very big and historical event that will have wider ramifications in world politics. After Iran's victory vis a vis Israel and the US, several world powers have rallied round Iran and have hinted that they could back Iran if need arises. In this regard, the aide to Putin and former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev's statement has caused much anxiety to Trump. He wrote:
"What have the Americans accomplished with their nightmare strikes on three nuclear sites in Iran.
1. Official infrastructure of the nuclear fuel cycle appears to have been unaffected or sustained only minor damage.
2. The enrichment of nuclear material --and now we can say it outright --the future production of nuclear weapons will continue.
3. A number of countries are ready to directly supply Iran with their own nuclear warheads.
Medvedev's sarcastic statement suggests that Trumps bombing of Iran's nuclear sites could not 'obliterate' them. On the contrary, the bombing exposed the weakness of Israel and the US before Iran and their failure has only proved advantageous to Iran. After the attacks, Iran has turned the IAEA back. And according to Medvedev, now Iran 's nuclear programme will go on as before and several powerful countries are ready to give nuclear warheads to Iran.
Iran's success against the US and Israel is a result of decades of progressive policies based on the goal of scientific development and military superiority. Its leadership refused to accept the hegemony of the US and Israel as the Sunni Arab countries did. And interestingly, Iran embarked on the journey of scientific development after the Islamic revolution of 1979. Traditionally and historically, Islamic societies are not known for scientific temperament. Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Egypt and other Islamic countries lagged in scientific and military development. But Iran proved that an Islamic country can also make scientific progress if it builds its educational policy on true Islamic principles because Islam does not oppose or discourage science and technology but encourages it.
With its undeclared victory over the US and Israel, now Iran has heralded a new era of world politics. Iran put its existence at stake by confronting the US and Israel and its successful emergence from this crisis has great lessons for the rich Arab countries which became slaves of Israel and America. They not only recognised Israel but also established defence relations with Israel. They allowed the US to set up military bases on their land and strengthened its hegemony in the region. Despite all this, these Sunni Arab countries could not even persuade Israel or the US to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza which Israel blockaded. They only condemned Israel's inhuman attacks on Gazans. Saudi Arabia even hosted a musical programme of Shakira during Gaza war defying requests to postpone it. During the hostilities between Iran and Israel and the attacks on Gaza, the UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia entered into trade and defence deals worth $ 2 trillion with the US in May 2025. Interestingly, Qatar will buy American weapons worth $243 billion. Other Arab countries also have defence deals with the US but no Arab country had the courage to defend innocent Palestinians or at least to push humanitarian aid into Gaza against Israel's wish. The US will deliver garbage to Qatar in the name of weapons as it knows Qatar will never use them. The trade and defence deals with US are only a facade to fund America's economy and military and geopolitical objectives in order to thwart the growing influence of a Shia Iran in the Sunni Arab region. The Arabs have been pumping trillions of dollars in the American economy to enable it to inflict more damage and destruction in the Middle East. While Israel was attacking Iran, the King Abdullah of Jordan was addressing the European Parliament and pledging his loyalty to European countries. The Jordanian motor-mouth spoke of the weaponising of hunger and famine in Gaza and the attacks on Iran but could not send food and medicines to Gaza, leave alone sending troops.
However, the US and Israel will not rest in peace after their debacle in Iran and will try to hatch long term conspiracies to halt Iran's nuclear progress and military advancement. Even after the ceasefire, Trump said that Iran will not get a nuclear weapon. It shows reflects the paranoia of the US and the Europe. They have got the idea of Iran's military strength and will chalk out their plans to halt Iran's nuclear progress in this light. And the Arab countries will overtly and covertly co-operate with them in their nefarious plans as they have done earlier. But Iran has turned the tables and with it the Arab countries will have to change their policy towards Israel and the US. Otherwise, they will find themselves in the dust bin of history.
