Islamophobia! Why and How?
By Jafar Masood Hasani Nadwi
Translated into English by Ghulam Ghaus Siddiqi, New Age Islam
There Is No Threat from Islam to Anyone
Main Points
1. The mistake in comprehending Islam is to base our assessment of the evilness and goodness of Islam on how Muslims live their lives.
2. We must examine the life of the Prophet, pay attention to the Companions, and learn about their experiences if we are to understand Islam in its purest form.
3. Islam requires its adherents to trim their nails prior to milking in order to prevent injury to the animal from the nail-biting in the udder.
4. If the Islamic Prophet prohibited the suffering of animals, then how is it conceivable that a human being may suffer at the hands of another human being in the presence of this Islam?

Why not discuss Islam today together with phobia of Islam, panic, terror, false propaganda against Islam, unjustified allegations, and inaccurate portrayals when Islam poses no harm to anyone? Islam embodies kindness, truth, light, wisdom, blessings, and mercy at its highest level. Mercy will come down, justice will prevail, light will spread, the knowledge fountain will bubble, blessings will come down, the word of truth will rise, and the wind of guidance will blow wherever Islam goes or stays.
The mistake in comprehending Islam is to base our assessment of the evilness and goodness of Islam on how Muslims live their lives. Because of this, many people now experience the sickness known as Islamophobia. If Islam is to be understood correctly, it must be seen in the context of the era of the Prophet (peace be upon him), the era of the Companions after him, and the great followers' age after the Companions. The Prophet designated those three eras as the best era of Islam.
Muslims who have spent years living thousands of miles away from the centre of Islam and interacting with people of various ethnicities, civilizations, cultures, and faiths have mostly lost their Islamic characteristics. After observing their imperfect Islamic lives, it is impossible to draw an accurate and fair impression of Islam.
We must examine the life of the Prophet, pay attention to the Companions, and learn about their experiences if we are to understand Islam in its purest form. There and everywhere else like it, Islam can be traced. Islam can be observed in those eras in mosques, homes, streets, shops, industries, bazaars, farms, gardens, the behaviour of slaves and owners, religious practises, morals, interpersonal relationships, happiness, sadness, wealth, poverty, strength, and weakness. Islam will finally be seen there in all facets, situations, and spheres of existence. Islam mandates that adulterers, killers, and thieves all have their hands cut off. Is it then feasible for theft, homicide, and rape to occur in any community where this Islam is present?
Can we anticipate incorrect rulings from the courts in the presence of Islam, which labels lying, fraud, forgery, misrepresentation, and bribery among the worst sins and guarantees harsh retribution in the hereafter?
In the presence of Islam, which lays such a heavy emphasis on meeting the needs of others and offers enormous benefits for doing so, can one's family, neighbours, or any orphan or widow go hungry? Islam holds that one of the greatest sins is disobedience toward parents, so children must respect them. It further asserts that heaven is under the feet of the mother and that the father is the gateway to paradise. In light of this Islam, how could a child or girl even consider disobeying their parents?
Is there immorality in any community where there is Islam, which forbids women from interacting with men, commands men to keep their eyes down, and forbids them from going anywhere with non-Mahrams? In the midst of such Islam, can the door of shameful crimes open?
Islam teaches people that God is one, that He alone should be worshipped, that He alone should be turned to for assistance, that He alone is the only one who can give us or take from us, that He alone is the One who can meet our needs, and that not even a dry leaf may fall without His permission. Can someone offend Him by bowing down to someone else when He is present?
Can the idea of abuse and oppression really exist in any community in the presence of Islam which teaches Muslims to stop doing so?
Islam says “Whoever seizes a hand span of land unlawfully, will surround him to the depth of seven earths.” Can anyone, then, illegally occupy someone else's land in the face of such Islam?
Islam has established extremely fair and reasonable norms and regulations, as well as a detailed map of inheritance distribution based on ties, and orders the distribution of inheritance prior to death. There shouldn't be any complications for the heirs given these rules, right?
Islam does not make distinctions based on race or colour between whites, blacks, Arabs, foreigners, and other people, but rather on piety. Can someone really think that they are inferior or superior based on their ethnicity or colour in the face of Islam?
Islam condemns overburdening even an animal, and those who do so will be called to account on the Day of Judgment. So, in the presence of this Islam, can a person be forced to work harder than he can?
Islam requires its adherents to trim their nails prior to milking in order to prevent injury to the animal from the nail-biting in the udder. Just consider that the Prophet of Islam forbade the suffering of animals, even for a moment, thus in the presence of this Islam, is it possible that a human being will suffer at the hands of another human being?
Islam maintains that there is no place for belief in people who are untrustworthy and who break promises. Can a true adherent of Islam then become unreliable and breach promises?
Islam maintains that if someone violates the rights of God Almighty, they can ask Him for forgiveness and receive it. However, it also asserts that abuses of human rights won't be forgiven until their perpetrators have received only the victims' forgiveness, or until the right of the victim is paid for. If they are not forgiven, their good deeds will be used to compensate for the victims' rights on the Day of Judgment. After knowing this Islamic doctrine, can a fool really deprive someone of their right and place themselves in such a tough situation?
Given the lovely Islam, which makes marriage so easy and declares the least expensive marriage to be the most blessed marriage, can a poor woman or poor boy remain unmarried, and can the happiness disappear from the face of the parents after seeing their lovely daughters?
Can there be hatred and ugliness in a society when there is Islam, which chooses forgiveness to vengeance, gentleness to harshness, giving to breaking, joining, taking?
Islam forbids its followers from mocking one another, speaking disparagingly of one another, slandering one another, harbouring unfounded suspicions about one another, and backbiting one another. Can these social ills that are more damaging than rags and more hazardous than termites emerge in the presence of this Islam?
Can these social ills that are more damaging than rags and more hazardous than termites emerge in the presence of this Islam?
These are a few facts; now, let us know if you still believe that Islam poses a threat to you and your community.
